Illustrative example · fictional data
What clients receive every month.
Buyer introductions are the start, not the service. This sample shows the structure of the monthly retail development report TruLife clients receive: who was contacted, what was presented, what followed and what happens next.
Illustrative example only. The brand, retailers, counts and statuses below are fictional and were created to show report structure. They are not TruLife client results, do not describe any real retailer, and are not a projection or promise of activity volumes or outcomes for any engagement. Actual reports reflect each client’s category, channels and program scope.
| Client | “Sample Brand Co.” (fictional) |
|---|---|
| Reporting period | One calendar month |

Each account carries its channel, the latest activity, its current status and the agreed next step.

3. Buyer presentations & follow-up notes
Short narrative notes from each presentation: buyer feedback on pricing, packaging and category fit; questions raised; documents or samples requested; and who owns each follow-up. Feedback that affects pricing or assortment is flagged for the client’s decision rather than buried in the table.
4. Next steps for the coming month
- Ship requested samples and confirm receipt with each buyer.
- Complete vendor-setup documentation for accounts in onboarding.
- Schedule follow-up calls aligned with category review windows.
- Client decision needed: revised wholesale pricing for the pharmacy channel.
- Prepare sell-through support plan for any newly authorized account.
Reports distinguish clearly between outreach, scheduled meetings, buyer interest and confirmed authorizations. A presentation or sample request is not a placement, and is never reported as one.
