TruLife Distribution attended Newtopia Now 2026 in Denver, Colorado, from August 18–20 — the natural products industry's show for emerging brands — meeting health, wellness and consumer companies planning their next stage of U.S. retail growth.

Why Newtopia Now

Newtopia Now is where early-stage and growth-stage natural brands meet the retailers, investors and partners who decide what reaches American shelves. It is a format TruLife knows well: the team has worked structured retail buyer programs — including ECRM — every year since 2009, and the same discipline applies here. The value of a show is not the number of meetings collected; it is the preparation before them and the follow-up after.

What the team did in Denver

Brian Gould, Founder & CEO, and the TruLife team spent all three days at the show, talking with brands about:

  • U.S. market readiness — whether a product, label, price and supply chain are actually prepared for American retail, and what to close first if they are not.
  • Retail buyer development — how to position a brand, build the presentation and follow up so buyer conversations turn into placements.
  • Commercialization infrastructure — FDA and regulatory coordination, importation, logistics, warehousing, distribution, e-commerce and marketing, run by one U.S. team.

What happens next

Several of the brands met at the show are now moving into deeper evaluations with the TruLife team. Brands considering U.S. retail can request a U.S. Market Assessment — a written read on what entering U.S. retail would require and what it could realistically return — or contact the team to discuss their retail strategy.
