Commercial judgment

When the Right Recommendation Is “Not Yet”

Not every brand TruLife evaluates is ready for immediate U.S. retail expansion. In one engagement, the product opportunity was compelling, but the economics, operating structure and market-readiness requirements were not yet aligned for broader retail development.

Rather than push the brand prematurely into buyer conversations, TruLife recommended additional preparation and validation before scaling.

The recommendation included refining pricing and margin structure, strengthening U.S. operational readiness, clarifying channel strategy and using buyer feedback to determine the appropriate next step.

Sometimes the right commercial decision is not “go faster.” It is “get ready first.”
